For Windows 10 and 11

SafeNeat for your child's PC

Install it once on the PC your child uses. You set the rules from the parent app or the dashboard, and the PC follows them.

Free download, a single installer (.msi). Download it on the PC your child uses.

Three steps after downloading

  1. 1

Run the installer as administrator on your child's PC.

  2. 2

Open SafeNeat and sign in with your parent account.

  3. 3

Choose which child the PC belongs to.

The SafeNeat browser extension is added to the PC's browsers automatically. There is nothing else to install.

What it does on the PC

Screen time and bedtime

A daily screen-time limit, allowed hours and bedtime. At bedtime, Windows locks the session. Your child can ask you for more time from the block screen.

Apps and games

Block an app or give it a daily time limit. New apps can wait for your approval before they open.

Safer web

Website filtering by category or by site, SafeSearch and YouTube restricted mode, across the browsers on the PC. You can also pause the internet.

Activity you can see

App usage, the websites visited (domain only) and blocked sites appear in your parent app and the dashboard. Searches, page addresses, video titles and chats are not recorded.

Hard to switch off

Uninstalling or pausing needs your protection password, and you get an alert if someone tries to get around SafeNeat.

AI safety alerts

With your consent to AI analysis, a visit to a worrying website raises an alert with an explanation. The AI sees only the domain name. You can switch it off anytime.

Location, geofencing and SOS are available on Android phones, not on Windows.
